Cole Campbell

I graduated from The College of Idaho in 2021 with a Bachelors in Exercise Science and minors in business, art history, and cultural / community psychology. I competed in cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track earning NAIA All-American Honors for cross country in 2018.

After my undergraduate education I debuted in my first ultra at Run the Rock 50k winning the race. I was hooked instantly. I have had the great opportunity of running trail races across the country and I continue to learn and grow in the sport.

I decided to continue my education at Western Colorado University studying High Altitude Exercise Physiology. I graduated with a Master’s of Science and highly value the education and relationships that I have developed in Colorado.

Coaching is something that I am highly passionate about. Having the great opportunity of coaching at my alma mater high school in Spring of 2022 solidified this. Seeing young individuals learn and grow over the duration of a season was incredibly rewarding. In my 2022 season serving as the distance coach, I had the privilege of coaching multiple State Champions and athletes that were able to continue to college running careers.

I founded Ruby Running with the intention of applying all my running experience and education with the hope of helping others achieve their goals. I have found success in my own running endeavors, it would give me great pleasure to assist others succeed in their own.
